Natural White diamonds (opalescent diamonds)

The milky, cloud and translucent colors are very unusual in the color diamond spectrum. Natural white diamonds are popular colors for collectors, designers and jewelry enthusiasts. These white diamonds get reactions of wow from many consumers worldwide as not many people know they exist.

CAUSE OF COLOR

Natural white diamonds are true white diamonds, the color is considered to milky, snowy or opalescent. These diamonds are often confused with colorless diamonds commonly referred to as white diamonds. But the major difference with colorless vs white diamonds is the actual white color. Their presence, like a thin cloud or transparent, like milk or white paint, can be a translucent, non-brilliant appearance. The longer the color is transparent and pure white, the rarer the stone. The whiteness is caused inside the stone by billions of white inclusions that prevent the light from absorbing and reflecting. Many collectors are drawn to the unusual white color as it reminds them of the clouds in the sky.

ORIGIN OF WHITE DIAMONDS

White diamonds have been found all over the world have no particular mine that produces more or less of them. In some cases white diamonds could have a modifier/secondary color present such as red, blue, yellow, brown and black.
